Qur’an, Sura Al Baqara, Chapter 2
207. And of humankind there are those who would trade their nafs, seeking the goodwill of Allah. Allah is Soft and Kind to His devotees.
Qur’an, Sura Aal-e Imran, Chapter 3
103. And hold tight to the rope of (connection to) Allah altogether and do not be divided and do zikr of Allah’s favors to you. When you were enemies He brought your hearts together, so that you became like brothers with His blessings, as well as when you were upon the edge of the pit of fire and He saved you from it. This is how Allah shows His signs to you clearly to give you the opportunity to be among those who are guided.
110. You are an ummah, good and beneficial, that We raised up for humanity. You enjoin right conduct and forbid unlawful conduct and you believe in Allah. If the people of the Kitab had also believed (in Allah), it would have been better for them. Among them are mu’minun but most of them are persistently disobedient.
