WHO WAS MUHYIDDIN IBN ARABI? Scholar, mystic and WHO WAS MUHYIDDIN IBN ARABI? Scholar, mystic and poet, Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi was one of the most influential figures in Islamic mysticism. Born in Andalusia in 1165, he travelled widely across the Muslim world, encountering teachers, seekers and different traditions in his search for knowledge and spiritual understanding. His writings explored profound questions around love, knowledge, the human being and the Divine, ideas that continue to be studied and discussed today. A space to talk about the things that matter to us, ask the questions we carry, hear from others, share our experiences, or simply listen. *Global Youth Gathering* is a monthly online space for young people aged *13–25 from around the world* to come together and have real conversations about life, our relationships, the things we are navigating and who we are becoming. Each month, Shaykh Ibrahim Ansari and Shaykh Nishaat Siddiqi will open a conversation around a different theme, with space for your questions, thoughts and experiences too. What you bring to the conversation can also help shape the conversations that follow. You don't need to have all the answers or even know what to ask. Come share, ask, or simply listen.
