Sura Al Isra, The Night Journey
1. May Allah be Glorified. He Who carried His devotee (Muhammad) during the night from the Masjid Al Haram [mosque in Mecca] to the Masjid Al Aqsa [mosque in Jerusalem], which is in a blessed area, so that We may enlighten him about Our signs. There is no doubt He is Al Sami [The Hearer; The Listener], Al Basir [The Seer].

Sura Al Ma’arij, Gateways of Ascension
3. From Allah, Lord of the Gateways of Ascension.

4. (Through them) the angels and the Ruh [Spirit; Jibril] ascend to Him in one period whose span is fifty thousand years (in earth time).

Sura Al Najm, The Star
7. When he was on the highest horizon.

9. Until he was as near as the distance of two bow lengths, or even closer.

11. The fu’ad [spiritual heart as perception center] did not reject nor deny what it saw.

12. Will you then dispute with (Muhammad) about what he sees?

13. And most certainly he saw (Jibril) descend another time,

14. By the Lote Tree at the utmost boundary.

16. When whatever covered the Lote Tree covered it,

17. His eye did not waver, nor did it lose its focus.

18. Most certainly he saw one of the greatest signs of his Rab [Lord].

42. And your Rab is the final destination.

49. And it should be known that He is the Rab of the Sirius star system.
