Part 4 of 4: THE LASTING REWARD
As Sufis, should we want to strive for the lasting reward and not the temporary worldly rewards? As Sufis we are not after the reward. We are after the understanding. So why is there a Hereafter? There is a Hereafter because you are not in control there anymore. Why is Earth a testing place? Because here, Allah gives you some will power and some control and then waits to see what you are going to do with it. In the Hereafter it is different. As soon as you die, you cannot do anything on your own. You no longer have the latitude to make mistakes and learn from them. It is important to use the time you have on Earth to get the lessons.
