There are three stations. This is for those who can do this. You have to be with Allah and let them do whatever they want to do. It is irritating. I am not saying it is not irritating you. But, you have to work with Allah. Allah will take care of that. Until He does, you have to continue.
One, you are with the created. No matter what it is, you are not going to be happy.
Second, you are with your nafs, with yourself. You are not going to be happy with this either.
Third, you are with Allah, this is where the happiness is.
You, everybody is in one of these three stations.
So, the other thing is, when you are living with Allah, you ask Allah. Each action, you ask Allah,
“What do You want me to tell them or do now?”
Allah does not say, “You have to take it forever.” There is a time you can defend yourself too. When you see this confirmed, then if you can do something about it, do it.
Station 1
And among human beings are those who say, “Our Rab, give us the riches of this world.” For such there will be no portion in the Hereafter. (Al Baqara:200)
Station 2
They follow nothing but conjecture and that which their nafs [ego] desires, even though the guidance from their Rab has come to them. (Al Najm:23)
I want you (O Muhammad) to see those who choose as ilah [god] their own desire [shirk-e khafi]. Would you then want to be a guardian over them? (Al Furqan:43)
Have you not seen those who make their desire their ilah [god], and Allah sends them astray purposefully because of this, and seals up their hearing, perception, senses and heart, and sets a block on their vision? And who can lead them after Allah? Will you not then take heed? (Al Jathiyah:23)
Station 3
Return to your Rab, He is happy with you [Radziyya] and you being happy with Him [Mardziyya]! (Al Fajr:28)
“The mu’minun are none but those whose hearts feel awe when Allah is mentioned [zikr], and whose iman [certainty of conviction and connection to Allah] is increased when ayats [verses] of Allah are recited to them, and those who are happy with what their Rab [Lord] decides for them, (Al Anfal:2)
Allah is happy with them and they are happy with Him. This is for those who revere and heed their Rab. (Al Bayyina:8)
