Our Books…

Guidance is a Blessing!

“We cannot count the blessings of Allah.
Yet, Allah has blessed us with His Biggest Blessing:
Guidance through Love, for which we are grateful.”
Murshid Shaykh Taner Vargonen Ansari

As a Tariqa [Spiritual school; Sufi Order], we follow the teachings and guidance of the Spiritual Leaders of the Entire Sufi Order:
Murshid Shaykh Taner and Murshida Shaykha Muzeyyen Vargonen Ansari (current Head of the Order).

The 10 Principles of the Ansari Qadiri Rifai Tariqa

1. Focus on Allah only.

2. Rabita [Purposeful spiritual connection].

3. Service without judgment.
Our motto: We are not here to judge people; we are here to help people.

4. Hospitality and food.

5. Science and education. We base everything on science.

6. Seeking the truth and being independent thinkers.
We do not believe what we do not see.
We do not believe blindly.
We investigate.
We search for the truth and believe in the truth only.

7. More doing, less talking.

8. Working within your community.

9. Taking responsibility for what you know.
Acting with your knowledge.

10. Tolerance.
Being flexible in our communications with others.

We welcome all who come in peace for the purpose of learning and contributing to the well-being of everyone.

“Come, Come whoever you are, wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving.
Our’s is not a caravan of despair.
Come even if you have broken your vows a thousand times,
Come, come yet again.”
Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi (May Allah be well pleased with him)
