Justice and peace cannot be by words on the surface. It is in the action. First you start with yourself, you better yourself. Most people that I see in the world want to make the other guy better. Excuse me, what about you? What kind of program did you do on yourself to better yourself so that you can help your fellow man so that he or she can be better? Our first job is to become human beings.
Jihad does not mean fight; jihad means struggle. The jihad we are talking about is: you have to struggle against your nafs. The biggest jihad is against you, not the other guy.
What did you do to yourself that you are now going to apply to the other person? If we all work on ourselves, make Allah and His laws our number one priority and respect them, then we will have social justice.

Do we try to kill our nafs? Or, do we try and elevate and our transform them? Nafs should not rule us, but we need them, no? Aren’t we stretched between the lower and the higher? Isn’t Islam about inner unity? The question I have is what is the specific work one must do to bring it about? Living life consciously is probably not enough. Thank you.

What words of wisdom. We have been struggling to fix the others in our lives when the only person we need to fix is ourselves. How easy 😊
Can we build up the courage to work on ourselves. Indeed the most rewarding efforts will be seen Insha Allah. Ameen
