As salaamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhuu

Dear Murids and Muhibs

A prayer circle is being held daily. We are praying for healing of the world from Coronavirus, insha Allah. This is not a live broadcast prayer and is purely voluntary.

Each person joining the World Ansari Prayer Group will be required to read, at their suggested times, the prayers (Zikr) that Shaykh has recommended.

Ya Wadud Ya Salaam Ya Jami Ya Nafi

Prayers / Zikr

This Zikr [Repeated Remembrance with Contemplation; Prayer] is recommended to be read daily as a means of protection from the virus. Our niyyat [intention] is to connect with Allah and call on Him by His Beautiful Names.

We begin with:
A’uzu billahi minash-shaytan-ir rajim
Bismillah-ir Rahman-ir Rahim
O Allah we seek refuge in You from Satan, the outcast.
In the Name of Allah, Al Rahman [The One Who Acts with Mercy], Al Rahim [The Source of Mercy]

This is our connection. It is to Allah that we direct our thoughts, words and actions. Our point of reference is Allah.

The following is to be recited 101 times each.

Begin with:

Darood / Salawat [Invocation of peace and blessings upon Prophet Muhammad]
Allahumma salli ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ala alihi wa sahbihi wa sallim

O Allah Please Help our doctors and scientists to find a cure
Ya Badi’ Ya Muqtadir Ya Qadir Ya Haqq

To protect yourself from getting the virus
Ya Muhaymin Ya Hafiz

To ask Allah to stop this virus
Ya Muqtadir Ya Qadir

To boost your immune system
Ya Qawi Ya Matin Ya Shafi

For virus to stop from spreading
Ya Kafi Ya Mani

Visualize virus being destroyed by the sun
Ya Dafi

Recite these three ayats [verses] of Sura Inshira, 7 times
1. Alam nashrah laka sadrak
2. Wa wa dwa’na ‘anka wizrak
3. Al-lazee anqada zwahrak

Qur’an, Chapter 94: The Expansion
1. Have We not expanded and laid open your sadr [chest],
2. And removed your burden,
3. Which weighed heavily on your back,

O Allah Please include us among those who are grateful and whose prayers You always accept
