This is Part 2 of a Series. Did you miss Part 1: The Beginning? You can catch up here…

Do you want to be sincere?

This is how it started (read The Beginning) and then Satan said, “Give me permission until the Judgement Day, I will lead most of them astray.” And Allah said, “Okay, I give you permission until the Judgement Day, but you have no power over My believing sincere and believing devotees, dependents.” So there are two points in these sentences:

1. Who does Satan have a hold on? He has a hold on the unbelieving and insincere people. If you are sincere and believing, he has no hold on you, except that he wants you to be out of this situation so he can get you.

2. How does Satan work? He does not possess you, he does not make you do things, he just inculcates in you subliminal messages, when you are ‘sleeping’. He just whispers in your ear to do it and then you do it, because you are not responsible of something or doing something if you are not willing to do it. If you are forced, you are not responsible.

Be the Qur’an

There is no compulsion in din [way of life]. (Al Baqara:256)

Everybody has to do things willingly. That is why they criticize us that we are not praying and we are not doing this. Listen! We do pray. Sharia is a MUST! I pray. And when you feel like praying, you should also pray. I cannot MAKE you pray, then it will be compulsion. You have to do it yourself. I tell you to read the Qur’an, you read the Qur’an and DO whatever you can of the Qur’an that you read. I read the Qur’an and Alhamdulillah, with Allah’s help, I became the Qur’an. Whatever I do is in respect with the Qur’an. Whatever hadith [saying attributed to or anecdote regarding Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)] I read, I took it upon me, I started acting like that. This is how you live. I may not remember all of the Qur’an and all of the hadiths, but it is in my actions. I would like you to do the same.
